“Well, nice to meet you Jonesey.” Frankie said simply, though she held back rolling her eyes, What was with the James Bond-esque introduction? Next she was going to be telling she liked her martinis shaken, not stirred. Whatever, it was weird, and it inexplicably annoyed Frankie, but she wasn’t going to comment on it. “ Actually, strike that, I don’t know if this qualifies as ‘nice’ so far. I’ll go with interesting to meet you instead.”
She cocked her head to the side, hearing footsteps coming up the stairs. Uneven foot steps, as though whoever was walking had an unsteady gait and ugly orthopedic shoes. Crap, was that damn chem. teacher still coming after her? Frankie was silent for a moment, listening, until she heard the steps fading as whoever it was left the stairwell on the floor below them. Her shoulders, which had tensed instinctively relaxed again, and she looked back to the blonde. “So what are you doing here anyways?

Jonsey smirked. Nice? That wasn't how she would describe the meeting, but whatever. She wasn't going to start another argument. She snickered when she heard Frankie correct herself and she nodded. "Yeah I would agree with the second word. Unless it's nice to have an argument, try to kill each other, and then have a conversation. I'm pretty sure we got a few steps out of order there." She cracked her knuckles out of habit and smirked at Frankie.
Then she heard the footsteps, coming up the stairs. It didn't sound like her Social Studies' teacher's hard boots, but Frankie seemed to recognize them. They both waited silently for the footsteps to fade away again and Jonsey saw the girl in front of her relax. She tilted her head and furrowed her eyebrows. "I would ask you the same thing. I'm up here to get away from the kids and the noise." Jonsey put together a few of the pieces together and she snickered, grinning at Frankie. "Are you hiding from someone? A teacher?" She knew those footsteps couldn't come from a student, so Frankie must be in some shit or something.

Frankie leaned back against the railing again, relaxing now that the threat of being discovered by the teacher was off the horizon, and nodded at Jonesey’s question. “Yeah. Well, not hiding per say, so much as I’m not going to make it easier for her to corner me for a conversation.” she shrugged, picking at one of her nails. “ I’ve been less than eager to attend all my chem. classes, and the old hag who teachers them seems to have taken some offense to it. I’m hoping if she can’t catch up to me, she’ll just give up and let this one go.” Frankie explained dully. It was hardly exciting, bolting away from a teacher to avoid probable detention. Then again, neither was hiding out from other students.
She inclined her head slightly at the other girl. “ So avoiding the students, huh? Little anti social, isn’t it?” she said, not necessarily as a bad thing, just making an observation. Frankie, if she was completely honest with herself, was a bit of a social butterfly, and loved being in the thick of things. She could never quite understand those people who preferred to be alone. Just seemed, well, boring to her.

Jonsey nodded her head, listening to the rest of Frankie's explanation of why she had frozen when the steps were heard. "Eh, the old chemistry teacher's a hag. I've seen her around a few times and she's just like any other old wobbling woman. Nagging and taking her job way too seriously." Jonsey ran her fingers through her hair, pulling it back and taking a small black band from her wrist and putting it up in a low pony tail. She didn't have time to brush it this morning because she got up late, ,about to miss her first period. She barely had time to brush her teeth and usually her curly hair never looked brushed unless she ran through it counting to 100 strokes (which was rare these days).
Jonsey raised an eyebrow and gave Frankie an 'Are you kidding me?' look. "Yeah, like I'd want to go around walking through a hall of thugs, druggies, and killers. I don't know about you, but that's another reason why I don't make conversation. you never know why a person got put into this place and you can't really trust someone either." She folded her arms, thinking the next line of questions would be why the both of them got put in here. She cracked her knuckles, thinking she might as well be the one to ask since she brought it up. "So speaking of which, what did you get to be put in here. No offense, but you look a little to good to be here." She gave a small smirk to show she didn't mean to say that Frankie wasn't though enough to be in here. Jonsey's first guess was she knocked someone out or broke someone's legs or something like that.

Frankie smiled a little and shrugged at the other teens assessment of the students. “ you probably have a point with that, but mostly I find it interesting. The people here are... well, for lack of a better word, different. Which of course in my mind makes them interesting. Besides, I figure I'm here, and I'm relatively normal. So there's a good chance other students are too.” She grinned at Jonsey “Of course, you're here too. So one has to assume you fall into the druggie, thug, or serial killer category.”
Frankie let out a small chuckle and shook her head “ I look too good to be here, huh? I suppose that's probably a compliment. I'd rather not look like a thug or whatever. I'm here for a nice bucket load of offenses, fraud, theft, breaking and entering, destruction of property and assault to name a few. ” she said with a nonchalant shrug of her small shoulders. “ Really, that just makes it seem tougher than it is. The actual story is my ex pissed me off so I went ape shit, trashed his things, got his car stolen, racked up his credit cards and broke his nose” She chuckled “ I like the bad ass version better, makes me feel like I deserve this Level Three shit more... How about you? What got you stuck here?”

Jonsey shrugged and nodded. "I guess you could call the Level Ones normal. But I had trust issues to start with and that issue sort of sky rocketed when I got here. First kid I ran into smiled at me and then tried to steal my bag. SO I got in trouble the first day because I almost broke his nose." She smirked when Frankie pointed out that she herself was there as well. "Touche then. But the druggies are easier to point out than anyone else I think. most of them shake like crazy and look at you funny.." She chuckled to herself. She'd really only seen one person do that and that was because she had run into someone at the wrong time.
Jonsey raised her eyebrows, a grin on her face. She knew it was probably an over-exaggeration of what really happened, but it was still funny to hear what happened to other people. When she heard it was about a boyfriend though, she just chuckled and shook her head."Damn do most of the girls in here get put in because of boyfriends?" She smirked and shrugged when she asked why she was there. "I ran over some guy's legs with a dirt bike because he was harassing a girl and then when I tried to get him to stop, he tried to get me too. As you've seen, I don't put up with shit." She grinned. "There's really no bad ass version of my story, it's not like he had to get his legs amputated, when I was disappointed about." She laughed lightly, shrugging.

Frankie let out a small laugh and shrugged her shoulders. “ Seems that way... One of my roommates lost it on a ex as well. Guess it just goes to show you that boys are dicks.” Was that probably an unfair generalization? Yes. But Frankie was definitely in a hating anything with a penis state of mind. She had been since things with Teddy, aka Douchy McMoneybags, and she couldn't really foresee getting herself out of it anytime soon. Which is why she chuckled meanly when Jonesy said why she was at the school.
“ Ah, see? You proved it further. Guys are all turds.” she smiled, shaking her head “ Personally yours sounds bad ass enough already. You don't need to add anything. Jeeze, and I thought I was bad when I got pissed off. I'll keep in mind not to bug you if there is a motorized vehicle around.” she joked. She pushed a few strands of escaping hair off her face and behind her ear. “So do you regret doing it? Was running him over worth being stuck in this purgatory?”

Jonsey grinned slightly to herself. She was starting to warm up to this girl. Even though she definitly wouldn't be linking arms and skipping down the stairs to go tell secrets in each others' dorms, she could probably call Frankie an aquaintence at most by the time they got done with their conversation. Frankie seemed like Jonsey in ways that made Jonsey more confident with talking to her: the noncaring attitude, the tough style, and the way of handling things. She didn't seem to think actions through, but then again, Jonsey didn't either when she was aggitated or pissed off. That explained why she had gotten thrown in here.
Jonsey chuckled at Frankie, a bit of pride showing in the small grin on her features as she listened to what Frankie was saying. She appreciated it when people didn't just say 'Are you kidding? you ran a guy over for that? Are you psycho?' No, Jonsey rather liked it when she got someone to actually laugh or give her a thumbs up. It always made her chuckle. Her grin faded to a smirk as she leaned against the wall when Frankie asked her the question that most students were frequently asked. "I don't regret it. This palce isn't so bad when you aren't around the annoying students, but that kid definitly diserved it and the chick I stood up for didn't look at me funny or run away like some kids do when I beat the shit out of their bully. Some idiots think I'll hit them next. But I really didn't care where I ended up, so long as that kid got hurt for being a douche." Jonsey was a little surprised at herself for going so in depth with the explination. She usualy didn't explain the matter that much, but she didn't think Frankie would judge her negetivly for it. She guessed she was probably just hoping for another 'good job'.
