Blackwood Academy opened it's doors in 1994, as a boarding school for male delinquents. Working as an alternative to jail, the people hailed James Blackwood as a hero. In December of 1994, a fire broke out killing everyone in the school, including the headmaster. Years later, after two different tries to get the school up and running again, in January 2013 the school has reopened under a new headmaster, Michael J. Blackwood.
Headmaster Blackwood has assured the community that the Blackwood Tragedy of 1994 will never happen again. To prove his point the man opened doors to young women as well as young men. Now the letters have been sent and the doors are open.
Students are pouring in and this time things are very different.
The new Headmaster is very exclusive with the students. Not only does the student have to have a rap sheet but B.A.D. has another requirement that would leave many without an invitation. Only those with budding, gifts are given the opportunity be join the B.A.D. students. Not just any gifts, the have to be beyond special.
