Pixel walked into the cafeteria, embracing the looks and stares she got with a warm smile and looking directly into the eyes of anyone looking her way. She did so because when she did, they normally looked away having been caught staring. Pixel wasn't being stared at because she was hot, or her boobs were being shown off, or she was in a mini skirt. Pixel was being stared at because the blonde level three was almost seven months pregnant, and was currently using her baby bump as a hand rest as she walked over to the lunch line and got a tray, smiling at the person in front of her we had turned around, looking at her big stomach, then looked up at her face. Yep, they looked away right after.
She pushed her tray across the metal railing thing, picking out things like salads and anything she thought might be healthy. She made it to the end of the line, where she was handed a special plate of food she always asked for, because she wanted something better for the baby and not everyone at the school was pregnant and had to worry about growing a healthy child inside them, and the second thing she was handed was a prenatal vitamin. She walked over to a table and set down. There was already someone at it so as she pulled her silver wear out of the package it was in she smiled at them. "Hey!"

Looking up as a girl sat down at his table, Darren cracked a grin. "Hey there, blondie." Examining her, he noted the baby bump, and cocked an eyebrow. "How far along are you?" He knew she was farther along than Georgie, because she was barely showing yet, at about four and a half months. This girl was much more obviously pregnant. He noted the other students staring, giving them the stink eye. Darren may be rebellious, and a bit of an ass, but he knew that staring at anyone, even a pregnant teenage girl, was just rude. He was used to being stared at. He practically asked for it with all of his art. But this girl? She was pregnant, and that definitely didn't call for staring. Especially if they weren't even going to own up to it.
Taking another bite of his food, he hoped the girl wouldn't be too freaked out by his tattoos. Not everyone could handle them. And from the pamphlets and information he'd been reading about pregnancy since he'd found out Georgie was carrying his kid, he knew stressing out a pregnant chick was bad for the baby. He didn't want that on his head. He figured he had enough bad karma waiting to come back at him. Besides, the girl seemed harmless enough. It made him wonder what she was doing here. Especially if she was pregnant. Didn't anyone think that this was a bad environment for a pregnant girl to be? Or was the staff full of idiots?

Pixel smiled when he looked up at her, and called her blondie. She strangely didn't mind that nickname coming from him. Or maybe she was just distracted by his tattoos and forgot to get mad at him about it. "I think I like the spine one on your neck the most, but they're all pretty cool." She bet drawing him would be fun, trying to catch all the little details of his artwork in a drawing. Maybe she could do one of him with tattoos, then one without them. She thought it would be cool, anyway. Then she registered that he had asked her question, and she looked down at her stomach, then up at him again, smiling even more widely. "Almost seven months. I'm so excited because I was allowed to order baby things offline so I have like.. a crib and baby clothes, and an butt load of diapers and the cutest blankets ever. I even got it a little stuffed bear." The level three couldn't help but get excited over her baby.
A second later she was moving, and she an her tray were beside Darren. Pixel reached into the top of her shirt, and dug her ultrasound pictures out from in between the two sports bras she was wearing. She found them more comfortable then any other bra she owned. "Okay so this one is the most recent, and that's it's little foot.. Or an arm, me and Frankie, my best friend, can't figure out which. But isn't it cute?" She laid that one down and went to the next one. "Then this one is their precious little angel face. It looks like Anthony. I mean.. You don't know Anthony, probably. Have you ever seen a blonde guy in the halls that's in a wheelchair? That's Anthony. He wasn't in a wheelchair when I got pregnant, though. He could like feel it and stuff. Now he can't feel it and it kinda sucks but maybe getting pregnant at seventeen was good because you know.. What if we can't have another kid? Now we have one and stuff."
Pixel realized she was talking too much about personal stuff, and that the guy probably didn't give a F*ck, so she moved on the more baby pictures. "And this is it all curled up. It looks like it's napping, doesn't it? We don't know the gender yet, and I don't want to until it gets out, but it'll be a cutie. Hey, did you know your finger prints are made when your in your mommy's tummy and you swish your hands around in the fluid? My little AMP is gonna have special little finger prints that they're making right now." Pixel smiled and patted her stomach, then looked back up at the guy. "I'm Pixel Ann Conner, by the way, but I mean.. In my heart and mind my last name is Price. We're just waiting to get the hell out of here to get it all legal and crap, but I kinda like it like this, like it doesn't matter what anyone else says, we're married. We have rings and everything!" She pointed to the ring on her left ring finger, then put some low fat Italian dressing on her salad, moed it around to get the salad coated in the dressing, then took a bite. "Which one was your first?" She waved her hand in a motion that said she meant his tattoos. "Anthony has a tattoo. It's kinda sexy, too, cause.. it's a tattoo and tattoos are sexy. I want a tattoo. A couple of them, actually. And a tongue ring. And a belly button ring. Did that hurt?" She poked herself on the bridge of his nose where he got the piercing. Then, finally, she was silent and waited for an answer.

Darren grinned as she said that she liked the spine one the most. It hadn't been the most comfortable one to get done, but it looked awesome, he knew. "Thanks, Blondie. I like to think they're all pretty badass, that's why I got it done, after all." Nodding as she said almost seven months, he tried to imagine Georgie this big. Just a few more months. He smiled a bit as she talked so happily about her baby. That was how Georgie should be, he thought. Not resentful. "Even a bear? Aren't people supposed to get you stuff at a baby shower? I think you got everything, Blondie. They won't have anything left to give you as presents." He thought it was cool, though. She was already thinking ahead, trying to take the best possible care of her baby. He could admire that. It was what he wished Georgie would do for their kid. Blondie was excited about her baby, and if you asked Darren, she seemed in love with the idea of being a mom.
An eyebrow raised as she moved to be beside him, and it went higher as her hand went into her shirt. Blinking as she pulled out pictures, he grinned again, looking at the pictures as she showed them. "I can see it. I think it's an arm or a leg. Maybe. But yeah, it's cute I guess." For an ultrasound picture of a baby. (Even though he thought the ultrasound pictures of his own were the cutest ever.) Looking at the second picture, he wondered who this Anthony guy was. Nodding as she talked, he patted her arm a bit awkwardly. He definitely got the feeling, of wanting to live while you could. But he didn't really know her, and didn't know how to help her. "It's a cute kid. Looking at it's Mama, though, it's easy to see why. If the Daddy is half as good looking as you, your kid's going to be more than an angel. And you know what? I'm sure that you'll have another kid someday, if you want to. There are ways to do that now, without sleeping with someone." He hoped that helped. She kind of reminded him of his mom, except a little like Juli, too.
Looking at the new picture, he nodded again. It did look like it was napping. "You want it to be a surprise?" Blinking as she told him about the fingerprints, he shook his head. "No, never would have known that if you hadn't told me. That's pretty cool." He wondered if his kid had started that yet. Grinning as she offered her name, he thought that it suited her. How many girls were named Pixel? He was still going to call her Blondie, though. "I'm Darren Alexandre Dupont. I'll wait for an invitation to the wedding. And I'm still calling you Blondie, by the way. Pixel is a great name, but you're Blondie to me." Looking down at his tattoos as she asked which was his first, he grinned. "These." He showed her his hands, the knuckles inked like the rest of him, reading 'Evil Dead'. "I've liked zombies since I was a kid. I was fifteen when I decided I wanted to look like one. I got my knuckles done first, to prove to the tattoo artist I could handle it, and then we set up appointments to get the full art done." It had been painful, at times. But hell, he looked awesome. Besides, there was no way in hell that he looked like his dad now. Grinning as she said that tattoos were sexy, that was something he could definitely agree with. "What's his tattoo of? And of course they are. Girls love them, you know. What do you want to get one of? Piercings don't hurt as bad as tattoos. The pain fades faster too." Reaching up to touch his piercing, he shrugged. "Not that bad. But then again, I'd had quite a few tattoos by then."

Pixel shrugged at the baby shower question. "Yeah, normally. But that's when you're in the world and I'm not out there, I'm in here, and the only people I'd invite are all my friends and they can't get me presents anyway, so it would just be a party because I was pregnant, not a baby shower." It didn't upset her all that much. Sure she'd like too to do the whole baby shower thing, but it wasn't possible, so she didn't see the point in worrying about it. Pixel had tried not the worry about things since she got pregnant, which was hard when Anthony first found out he was going to be in a wheelchair, but they got everything all straightened out.
She smiled when he said it was a cute kid, and that from looking at her, it wasn't hard to tell why, and if Anthony wasn't even half a as good looking as her, then the baby would be more than an angel. It was nice to hear that she was good looking, even seven months along. Most days she felt ugly, with big ol swollen ankles and having to waddle to the bathroom a lot, and her back hurt and it just.. wasn't pretty. But then Darren said she was good looking and that make her feel better. "Thank you. And Anthony's hot. Even without the tattoo he's hot. Like lava, or fire, or the sun. Hot. And I've been telling people that when AMP is born people are going to drop dead from the cuteness but they don't seem to believe me.."
Then she frowned, thinking of his next words. "But I want to be able to have S*x with Anthony. I mean.. And this might be girly and emotional but I'm a girl and I'm emotional when when I'm not pregnant.. We make love.. And it's wonderful and amazing and beautiful and it's like.. Okay look." She reached over and grabbed his hand, linking both their long, skinny fingers together. "You can see and feel how this doesn't work. You're a nice guy and everything, but it doesn't work. It doesn't fit the way it should, and it doesn't make me feel unbelievably happy that we're holding hands. No offense, just being honest here." Then Pixel drew her hand away from his. "But Anthony's hands.. It's like.. his hands are just big enough that my fingers slip perfectly into the slots between his, but they're not too big that they dwarf my hand and you can't even see my hand because his is so big." Honestly, big hands freaked her out. "And it's like that with everything between me and Anthony. We fix perfect, not just our hands but our whole bodies and our hearts and our lives. When we get out of here I'm moving to California with him and getting a beach house. I'm from Texas, and the only beach I've ever been to was one in Mississippi, and I'e never even been to Cali but that's Anthony's home, and I have no ties to Texas, and my home is Anthony. Wherever he is or wants to be is where I want to be. Make sense?" She had a bit of a motor mouth at times, but hopefully Darren got the most of it.
Pixel nodded when he repeated what she said about wanting it to be a surprise. She liked not knowing. "Yeah it's cool! There are tons of awesome things about pregnancy! Want some books? I could give you a shit ton of books." Since she got pregnant Pixel had been doing a lot of reading. Not just her school books and baby books but fiction books and just.. Everything she could think of to read is what she read, she wanted to be smart and if her child had a question she wanted to know how to answer it. "Blondie is cool. Normally it makes me want to punch people in the throat so hard I crush their windpipe, but I like it coming from you, Darren." She tested out his new made, then made a face that was like she was thinking about it, studying it. Would that be what she called him or would she think of a nickname for him, as well? She'd figure it out at some point. "That's cool, that you like.. Turned yourself into a zombie. How much of you is tattooed? Like is your back? Like how far does the zombiefication go? All of you or does your boxers cover the only uninked skin you have?" She was like a child sometimes, very curious.
She smiled when he asked about Anthony tats, and what she wanted to get. "Well, his is a cross, and his mother and fathers initials on either side." Of course, the reason Anthony had his mother and father's initials tattoed on him would remain secret, just like all the other things Pixel knew about Anthony that only she knew. "And I want to get a bird that's like flying right here." She lifted up her arm and put her hand on her side, right by her boob. "And the other one, I want right here on my hip." She pointed at the spot. "Like, far enough done that I can hide it easily, with only a little bit poking over the top of my shorts, and it's going to be A.M.Price. Because not only is Anthony's name Anthony Matthew Price, but if we have a son it's going to be named after him, or I guess his grandfather since Anthony is the third, but if we have a daughter it's going to be Antonia Megan Price. The first, of course." She smiled, taking another bite of her salad. "But I honestly wanted to get the A.M.Price tat before I got pregnant, when it was just Anthony I knew with the initials." She smiled. She liked talking about Anthony and her baby. She liked talking in general. She liked that Darren was letting her talk. She finally leaned over and hugged him, giving him a kiss on the cheek. "I like you, you're cool." Then she leaned back and kept eating.

Frowning a bit, something that did nothing to help his 'pleasant' face, he wished he could help her. Having a baby shower was part of having a baby, according to his mom. It was a big deal. Again, that was coming from his mom, and she wasn't always sensible, but she was generally right, in his experience. Maybe he'd have to talk to one of the teachers or someone about it. Wasn't his science teacher pregnant too? Pretty heavily, at that. "That's shit, though. You should have a baby shower. Even if it's not exactly what one would normally be like." He'd do what he could to help make it happen. He may not be at home to help Georgie, but he's here now, and he can help Blondie.
Darren was glad she seemed happy with his compliment. It was a little silly, but he'd been hoping she would like it. He knew that it had to be hard on her, going from being a pretty girl, to being a pregnant pretty girl. He'd heard about how upset his mom had been, how low her self esteem had gotten. If a compliment would keep the same thing from happening to Blondie, he could say a few nice things to her every now and then. It wouldn't be hard. In fact, it would be really easy. Smiling as she talked about how hot her boyfriend was, he couldn't help but think of Juli. "You make him sound like some kind of male model or something. But yeah, your kid is going to turn people to dust with it's cuteness. They won't stand a chance."
Listening to what she said, he had to admit he could understand. Even if he wasn't as emotional as she was, it wasn't hard to get. Blinking as she took his hand, he had to agree that it didn't quite feel right. He laughed a bit as she said no offense, that she was just being honest. He wouldn't expect anything less, he thought. Smiling, something that softened his face just a bit, he nodded as she continued. Now, she reminded him of his mom. She was always talking about true love, and how sometimes people were just perfect for each other. Even if he didn't feel the same way, he understood. "I get it, Blondie. What's not to get?"
Darren just nodded as she offered him books about pregnancy. He wanted to know everything he could. "Yeah, I'd like those books. What kind of stuff is in them?" He'd always liked reading, more than watching television or movies. As a kid, watching tv or a movie meant that there was the risk of seeing his uncle and/or mother in it. That always was weird for him. Smiling as she said that she liked being called Blondie by him, he was glad that she wouldn't try and punch him and crush his windpipe. "Glad you feel that way, Blondie." Blinking as she started talking about his tattoos, he grinned, pulling off his shirt and turning around so she could see his back. "It goes all down my back, and there is more... Yeah, pretty much only under my boxers. I went as far as I could." It was something he was proud of, all the art covering his skin.
His mind flickered to the small tattoo he had of his mother's name on his chest, hidden in the designs. He could understand wanting to make a bit of a tribute to your parents. Darren, even if he would never admit it, was a total 'mama's boy', and could never tell his mother no. Looking at where she said she wanted to get a tattoo, he nodded, following her motion to the second spot. "Those are good spots, and good tattoos. Easy to hide, if you need to. A lot of employers won't hire you if you have visible tattoos." He'd leaned that the hard way. He blinked as she hugged him and kissed his cheek. "Thanks, Blondie. You're pretty cool, too. A lot of people are afraid of me just because of my tattoos." Darren wasn't really bothered by that, generally. But times like this, when someone actually liked his tattoos? It was pretty nice.

Pixel shrugged to Darren's comment about the baby shower. She was just happy she was having the child, she didn't really care about much else. Sure, at the beginning.. It had been a little rough, and tying to figure out how to tell Anthony, and then his reaction hadn't been ideal, but she was okay now. Anthony was happy, and even excited about the baby. He was being so supportive, and he didn't even mind when she flopped down on his lap and made him wheel her around. A baby shower wasn't everything to her, the baby itself was.
She smiled brightly when Darren said her baby would turn people to dust with its cuteness. Finally! Someone besides Anthony that agreed with her. Most people just looked at her weirdly when she said something like "people will have heart attacks the first time they see them". But not Darren, he was just.. agreeing. Then he was saying he got everything about how Anthony and her fit together. She liked when people agreed with her, especially about things like her baby and Anthony. She had a feeling she and Darren would become quick friends.
"All sorts of things! There is even one that goes week by week, they counts from the last day of the last period the mother had, and you can find the week your girly is at and find out all about what her body is going through, and what's happening to the baby. It's got some really cool crap in there." She spoke happily. The baby hadn't been planned, but now that it was happening.. Pixel wouldn't want it any other way, even with the constant peeing and swelling of the ankles, Pixel was just.. happy about anything baby-like.
Pixel smiled as Darren explained everywhere he had tattoos. She kind of wanted to just to rip his shirt off and see all of the. Would that be weird? Probably, they did just meet. She put a little bit of salad in her mouth and did a little dance in her chair when Darren said those were good tattoos and places. She didn't know the last time she'd ever been quite this happy. It had probably been a long time. No, she remembered exactly.. the day she and Anthony had gotten "married". Saying vows while cuddling in his bed, then putting rings Anthony had made on each others fingers and it had been amazing and awesome. The S*x they had afterwards was probably even more amazing.
"That's stupid. Tattoos are cool! Art period is cool, and permanent art on your body? Even cooler. That sucks about the job, thing, though. How are you ever going to get a job? Oh! Are you going to work at a tattoo shop?" Before he could answer she put her finger to his lips. "Hold that thought, I gotta pee." She got up, scurrying out the cafeteria, coming back about ten minutes later, and finding Darren again, sitting back down. "Sometimes you think you're done peeing, but then the baby shifts and is like 'no mommy, you're not done'."
