“Well, tell me a little about yourself. What’s your name?”
"Well, as for why I was named Xanthis Mercury, I have no bloody idea. Mum and dad had odd names, so I guess the rest of us had to get odd ones too. At least, my twin and I did. Alchemy and Xanthis. Odd as a Liger, aye? Anyway, I love my name. It's one of the most unique I've ever heard. I like originality, funny I got so messed up in the conformity of drugs, eh? Heh. But I continue to digress...I only have one nickname...well, two. But the only person that gets to use them are Alchemy. She calls me Xanthy and Messenger out of affection. Xanthy is obvious, but Mercury is the roman messenger god, and Alchemy is super obsessed with Pagan Gods and Goddesses, ergo, the nickname. She calls me Messenger more than anything else really."
“Next question, how has your High School career gone thus far?”
"You know, it's funny. I quite enjoyed my time in school. It was a small public school for several villages in our part of Scotland, but it was decent enough. I learned enough to be able to call myself an intellectual, or at least educated. I got high marks, and was usually one of the top of my class if not the top. As I'm sure you know from my sister, I tutored her in the things I was learning since mum didn't let her attend school and I think that helped me learn the material better, it sure as hell made her happy, which made me happy. I guess the real reason I liked school was because I could teach my twin. Yes, my twin and I have a very loving relationship. No, not that way you twit, we are just each others best friend. That's all."
“What did you do when you weren't in school? Any hobbies or sports, anything like that?”
"I basically spent all my time with Alchemy, Cinead and Neacel. I didn't really have any friends outside of the family, but my siblings and I were all as close as we could possibly be. We spent every ounce of time we could together - we climbed trees, swam in the local lochs, raced each other. Everything that you'd expect kids to do.
However, once I got a little older, about fourteen, a friend of mine that I never saw outside of school introduced me to the wonders that are narcotics. At that age, I wasn't hooked like right before I came here. It was just the occasional hit before school. Mostly, we were into the more heavy stuff, like heroine and opium, but sometimes we kept it light with ecstasy and marijuana."
“Family and friends are pretty important. Tell me about them. How are your relationships with them?”
"I feel like I already did that...but I suppose I can tell you again. You know, you people are so redundant. No wonder my sister bloody hates you.
As far as my parents went, we were indifferent to each other. My father and I basically ignored each other's existence, while mum only cared about how I did in school. I was her trophy child. It was maybe the most annoying thing about my relationship with her. I think I would have rathered her to ignore me like my dad did.
My siblings on the other hand, well we all got along. Anyone that stopped by the house was surprised at how well we all got along. We were each others best friends, and we did everything together, except when mum made Alchemy do "womanly" things as mum called them. Just another reason to detest the woman, she separated my twin from me whilst Neacel, Cinead, and I were having fun playing in the beautiful, green Scotland grass.
As far as friends go, I had a few in school, but none that I did anything with outside of school. Actually, everyone I've ever met likes me. It's strange, because I was always invited by people to places, but I always declined. I was more interested in spending time with Alchemy and my brothers than spending time with my peers."

"-scratches head- I don't really know what to tell you. I mean, you can see I'm tall, 6'3'' to be exact, and you can plainly see my black hair and my lip ring. Um. I guess that means what you really want to know is what's in my head? Aye? Aye. Well, I like to think I'm more agreeable than Alchemy. I mean, she and I are fine, we're best friends, but with others, she's cold and sarcastic. But you already know that. Me, I'm pretty nice unless they're stupid or ridiculously bothersome, but it's pretty hard to bother me. Although, lately I have been a bit more irritable thanks to the withdrawals."
“Other then the reason your here, at Blackwood Academy, have you had any other issues with law enforcement?”

"Me? Not at all. I just got a little far into the drug game, but the only reason I even got hooked was because I know I get addicted to things easily, and I needed to be with Alchemy again. I knew that if I started selling, Dad would send me to the same prison Alchemy was at, or at least would try to. I missed my twin far too much to be without her for as long as we had been without each other."
