There were plenty of things wrong with being stuck in an "alternative" school, but today Oli's mind was stuck on just one. Why couldn't he get any damn coffee around here? Now, coffee was available, and some students probably could get it, but those students did not include Oliver Burton. Just because his stupid bitch mom requested that he not be allowed caffeine, did not mean that the school had to listen. Yeah, he was hyperactive to begin with, but still.
Actually there was no way to justify giving him coffee, but Oli was determined to argue his case. Besides, he'd been up half the night writing music. He needed something to get him through school. Or someone to get him coffee.
He flopped down in a seat and stuck his fluffy head in his arms. "Ugh. This suuuuucks."

Andy brought his napkin to his mouth, spitting the rasin into it. The muffin was wonderful, except for those ugly, old grapes. He look at the muffin, then took another bite. Rasin free, thank God. Andy sat the muffin down, then looked around the cafeteria before down at his book, that was open on the table in before him. Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan. He just got to the part where the two Graysons were meeting when he felt someone sit beside him. He glanced at them. A young girl, brunette, pretty but she might as well be twelve to Andy.
"Hello, Mr. Bones." She smiled at him, and he stared back. Normally he would tell his students to call him Andy, but.. This girl was giving him the creeps with the way she was smiling, so she could just call him Mr. Bones. "Hello, Miss. Turner." Andy was good at remembering peoples names, and this girl had an easily remembered last name. "I like it when you say me name like that.. Miss Turner.. Look, I know I failed that pop quiz Monday-" She wouldn't have had she answered the damn questions instead of keeping them all blank and doodling all over it. "But.. I was wondering if I could get some extra credit.." She reached out and touched his arm, which was exposed because his gray dress shirt's sleeves were rolled up. Andy pulled away. "No, Miss. Turner.. You get a tutor. Congrats." He smiled at her as he got up and moved from the table with all his stuff, leaving her behind with her mouth hanging open.
Andy used long strides to get away from that girl as fast and as far as possible. Then he heard something thatmade him turn to the person that said it. "Ugh. This suuuuucks." Oliver. Button? No, Burton. Andy sat his tray down beside the student, and sat down in front of it. It had a carton of chocolate milk, some orange juice, and his half eaten muffin. "So does your mom." Then Andy opened the book once more and began reading again. Hopefully this student wouldn't hit on him.

Oliver was close to smashing his head into the table when someone bothered to actually speak to him. "Were you with her last night? I was wondering who she had on the side." What? It was probably true that she had an affair. Wasn't that what all upper-middle-class women had? He smirked, obviously amused with himself. Running a hand throug his overly processed, fluffy hair, he looked to see who had chosen to sit with him.
Oh crap. A teacher? He was getting along with his math teacher?! Oh god. And worse yet, wasn't this the teacher that did things with students? At least that's what he'd heard...

Andy smirked at the freshmen's comment. This kid would at the very least would be amusing. Like a puppy that chased it's own tail was amusing. But Oli wasn't as cute as a puppy, at least to Andy he wasn't. Maybe to someone else he would be. Some really confused girl with low self-esteem, maybe. Then again, from Andy had heard around school Oli was known to be a whore, so.. Maybe a lot of girls were confused and had low self-esteem. "Oh damn, I thought I was being snecky. Yes, it is me. Don't tell."
Andy glanced up from his book. Oli looked surprised. Maybe it was because a teacher was sitting with him at breakfast, or maybe because of what Andy had said. Truthfully, Andy probably wasn't allowed to say things like that to students. Also truthfully, Andy didn't much care. "How are you, Mr. Burton? You don't seem to happy this morning."

And the teacher just kept playing along.
"Well, you didn't do a very good job of sneaky. Then again, maybe I just have better hearing than you though." He tried not to smile, he really did. God, his social life would crumble if anyone saw him getting along with this guy. Rule number one of being Oli- Authority figures are to be ignored. Not spoken with over breakfast. Definitely not. Unles he'd like to share his coffee priveleges. Then they could be on speaking terms. But that would be the only reason. Well, that and to protect him from Anthony Price. Death was not on his wishlist.
"You wouldn't by any chance have caffiene on you, would ya?" Keep it casual, don't seem like you want it too much. Good boy.

Andy's chocolate brown eyes shifted up to the freshman's. Did he have any caffeine? Why yes, Andy happened to keep some in his back pocket. What reasonable teacher didn't? In Andy's experience, there are two things you never, ever give a student. Sugar, and caffeine. So while Andy could very well just going into the teacher lounge and get the poor kid a cup of coffee, he wouldn't.
The math teacher shook his head, and looked back at him book. "I don't drink I lot of caffeine, so I wouldn't know where to get some for you." It was true. At least part of it. Seeing as Andy was a health freak, he didn't put anything in his body he thought might damage it in anyway. Andy Bones was actually somewhat of a food snob.
