She sat on he ptchers mound, violating dress code like you wouldn't believe. It was warm out today, so she was wearing clothes that she wouldn't die from heat in. A purpletank top that was actually kindof revealing was only covered by an off the shoulder baggy white top that had the word "love" written across it in black letters, and dark blue jean shorts, the edges frayed and strings that hung down from the cut off bottoms. She opted to not wear normal shoes that day, and her purple flip flops were discarded near her school bag. It was early after noon on a Saturday, the sun beating down on the baseball field but the blonde ignored it. She liked the sun, considering she felt like she'd done nothing but stay in her dorm for the past week and a half.. Of course she could be wrong and it had only been for the past two or three days, but still, it felt like a long time.
She had a tray of her lunch sitting beside her, having gotten it then coming outside after not seeing her long-term boyfriend Anthony or any of her friends in the cafeteria. If she couldn't sit and have fun with people she knew and cared about, she'd rather eat on the baseball field, on the mound, and read a book. Except Pixel didn't much read for fun, mostly because all the books she'd ever tried to read bored the crap out of her, so she'd shoved the book back into her bag, and pulled out a notebook, and a purple sharpie. She drew, covering the page with designs and cartoon style cupcakes, and pretty muc another else girly you can think of. The side of her hand was covered in purple ink like it normally was when she wrote, being left-handed and all, but she was careful not to smudge the ink. Then Pixel holded her legs so that she could easily get to her ankle, and began drawing an anklet tattoo. If someone got close enough to it, they could be able to tell the swirling lines read "A.M.Price" but she doubted anyone would get that close to her foot.
Then she heard a thump on the ground, and looked over to see a fly baseball rolling towards her. She grabbed it, and wrote her first name, a small heart and a smiley face on it before looking up, searching the small crowd for whoever had lost the ball. She saw a tall blonde guy walking towards her, she she figured that it was him, and she chucked the ball at him. She actually had a pretty good arm. Must have been those years of throwing things at people when she got mad.

Shane never liked uniforms. Equalizers? They were hardly that; they only served to make you stand out if the damned thing didn't fit properly, and the school colours were a joke. It made him stand out like a sore thumb, as he was as tall, if not taller, than most of the teachers, but he was also glaringly obviously a student, wandering around in that gaudy, blinding red jacket. Considering he didn't have any classes that afternoon, he ditched it, getting a set of his sport clothes out instead, knee length shorts and a sleeveless shirt made out of jersey material as he one again headed for the ball diamond to work off his frustrations.
Today, however, it appeared it was occupied; stepping onto the dusty field, he dropped one of the balls he was carrying, and it rolled out to the strangely occupied pitcher's mound, where a slight teen, who appeared to be doodling on herself, picked it up and started doodling on the ball instead, before looking up and hurling it back at him with surprising force. Only his quick reaction time saved him from getting hit in the face, the ball making quite the smacking sound as it hit his palm. Peering down at it as he spun it in his hand a moment, he looked back up at the one who'd thrown it, a brow raised over one pale blue eye.
Nice throw, he commented, standing a few feet away.

Pixel smiled at the guy, nodding. "Thanks." She thought about trying out for the baseball team's main pitcher, because the coach was hot beyond all reason, but she wasn't sure how she was going to handle the swim team, let alone baseball team on top of that. Plus medical wing duty, trying not to fail classes then at the same time squeezing in time with her boyfriend and father of her unborn child while maintaining friendships and reading up on babies, doing at home birthing classes, figuring out what she could and could not eat, and just generally trying not to go crazy and beat any with a bat... again. Needless to say, the small level three had a lot going on in that blonde head of hers.
She looked over at all her stuff, then back at the boy, who was carrying a few baseballs, plus the one she'd signed and thrown back at him. Oh, right, he probably wanted to throw some base balls around, and she was probably totally in his way. Pixel grabbed her flip flops, putting them on before she started shoving everything that would fit into her bag. "Did you, uh, want the pitchers mound? I was just.. tryingto study." She was always just trying to study. Yet her grades were Fs. Itwas totally shit. She scooted off the pitchers mound, dragging all her stuff with her. "I'm sorry for being in your way." She gave him a friendly smile.
