[/size]“Why the Blackwood Academy for Delinquents? Why do you want to work with troubled youth?”
I want to help children the joy and comfort reading a godd book can give them. I want them to feel like curling up with a book on a stormy night or just reading for enjoyment. Books are my passion and I want to share it, especially here.
“So you are applying for the Librarian opening here at the Blackwood Academy for Delinquents how long have you worked in that field? Why that job?..”
Well, I have worked as a librarian for 5 years now, and I was a librarian's helper in High School in Paris. I enjoy to read and I find it very comforting, I forget the troubles of my life, and just become immeresed in the world of whatever I'm reading. I first fell in love with books when I was five, living in Montreal in Canada. Then, when we moved to PAris at the beginning of my Grade 7 year there was a nice librarian who took me under her wing and taught me true french, the way it is spoken in France.
“What can you offer the school?”
Inspiration and comfort it was I can offer the students. All students eventually find a type of books they like. When they do, I enjoy watching their eyes light up, or sit for hours just reading. So, agsin, what I can offer is Ispiration, comfort and confidence.
“How do you think you present yourself to people?”
Well, physically, I appear sleder, wth my pure blonde hair and almond shaped eyes, hazel in colour. My lips are full and red, and I stand 5' 4" Now I uually come across confident I think. And fiesty. I fight for what I believe in, but I do take other opinions into account. I feel this is how I come across.
“Have you ever had any problems with the law? Why did you quit your last job?”
No, I have never had any problems with the law. But my younger brother has. Pierre is a kleptomaniac and has stolen cars and precious jewels. He was recently sent here, just after we planned this interview. Anyway I did not quit my last job, I was fired. They did not have enough money to pay all the teachers and staff so I was fired.
