hello, my name is Ashley, i'm 17 and i was born on October second. i guess that makes me an eleventh grader and i've been a student at blackwood academy for Three years. people would say i'm a whore and an addict. Most people think i'm crazy but my friends know i'm strong and brave and that i look a lot like Jennifer Lawerence but i just don't see it.

Hello. I'll be interviewing you today. Can you tell me your name, maybe a little bit about yourself?
Well, my name is Ashley but sometimes I go by Ash for short. I'm a mother of a beautiful three year old girl who is currently living with my parents. I became hooked on some pretty hard drugs before starting high school and ended up turning to prostitution to try and support it. Because of my abilities I had trouble seeing the point in living a boring life. I wanted to push my body to the limits and see how much it could take. I still do, the human body and it's limits fascinate me.

That's a lovely name. Why don't you tell me about the people that named you, your parents? And what about the rest of your family and people close to you, tell me about them.
My parents were pretty average people to be honest. He (William) is in business and she (Kristy) is in real estate. It was my boyfriend (Demean) who got me hooked on the drugs and then led me into the S*x trade. My parents have always wanted what was best for me and the proof is that there taking care of My daughter Sage. Other then them I don't really know my extended family at all.

Interesting... What about before Blackwood, how was your life?
Miserable for the most part. I lived for my fixes and did anything to get them. The thing about prostitution that people forget is that you aren't selling your consent you're selling your body. Once they pay they don't have to F*ck you. I remember once a few boys a little older then me decided they just wanted to scare me, make me cry and fear for my life. I honestly didn't think I would make it out of there alive but I did, and I didn't cry.

If you had to pick something, what's the worst and the best things your done in your life?
It depends on what you consider good and bad. I guess looking back and thinking about everything i've been through the worst would be the first time I shot up. I don't regret the drugs in general though, just the ones I had to inject. The best thing I've probably done is agreeing to come here and get better for my baby.

What made you come to Blackwood?
Like I said I have sage at home. I want to get off the hard drugs and out of being a whore. It's also a major plus that I get help with my "gifts" here

As you know, the requirements to be admitted to B.A.D are rather strict. Tell me about your gift, it is the reason you got this spot, after all.
I see ghosts. Sometimes they find me, they need my help or there looking to cause pain. Other times people ask me to seek the ghosts of there loved ones. I absolutely hate it and I just want to learn how to make it go away.

Okay, and last question I promise, do like how your life has turned out?
I've been injection free for six months but I'm no closer to making the ghosts go away.
